Commissioned by Van der Valk Akersloot we have realized the complete interior for the first Gastrobar of North Holland called Septem. From design to execution we have supervised this entire project.

It was a feast to work on the design for Septem
Nijboer not only realized the interior, but also the design of this brand new bar is from our hand. In consultation with clients Steve and Sanne van der Valk, our own interior architect Mariska designed the interior. ‘It was a feast to work on the design for Septem. Steve and Sanne wanted to realize a surprising and innovative catering facility. That is why I went looking for a unique and experimental mix of materials and deep color tones that I applied in interior design.
In my design I literally positioned the bar as a central center. This part of the interior had to be very special. For example, I gave the bar an elliptical shape with an insanely large awning that extends further into the room. This powerful object connects the various seating areas in the room and puts the bar in the center of attention as a real eye-catcher! The final result has become, as far as I am concerned, an attractive culinary environment with a surprising and quirky character ‘.
