Café du Sommelier | Dusseldorf

The concept Le Sommelier has been developed by London based Duncalf interior architects. Café du Sommelier shares its heritage with its two sister restaurants: Le Sommelier, located in central Copenhagen, and at the Airport in terminal 2 airside. The focus of the Le Sommelier brand is French cuisine and excellent wine. The restaurant is divided between bar, dining room, winter garden, private dining and two exterior terraces.

Café du Sommelier in Düsseldorf was set up by Nijboer at the same time as Mash. This location is distinguished by its emphasis on all day dining: from serving breakfast for the guests of the Hyatt House hotel, which is located above the restaurant, to lunch, dinner and an elegant wine bar.

The collaboration with Nijboer was again very pleasant this time. They can translate our vision into reality like no other. The deadlines were very tight, but Nijboer managed to meet them as always. It is nice to work with a party that always realizes our designs according to agreement and within budget. That gives confidence and a perfect end result!
